His practice spans areas related to Civil Law—contracts, family, and succession—a field where assets, business, and personal relationships often intertwine, requiring not only technical expertise but also sensitivity when handling matters of great importance to clients.

Like his father, Professor José Mauro Catta Preta Leal, he also followed a calling for teaching and has been a university professor for over 10 years. He holds a law degree from the Milton Campos Law School and a Master’s degree in Business Law from the same institution.
